Dr. Nichols, an Army veteran, also worked as a healthcare provider for 52 years. She is a licensed and ordained minister with the International Congress of Churches and Ministers. Minister Nichols, hosts “Moments of Inspiration to Strengthen Your Heart, Renew Your Mind and Uplift Your Spirit,” live on FaceBook, Friday mornings, at 11:30am, CST. Dr. Nichols is a published author, poet, former university educator and has been a mentor to countless individuals across the country. Dr. Nichols is the Founder/CEO/President of Moments of Inspiration Ministries, LLC, Inspiration Moments and Ministry, a 501c3, and ANTLOJ Health Education and Training Center.
Knowing that the grief of a Widow or Widower is universal Erica understands it isn’t a one-size fits all experience, so she has chosen to connect with a group of people that helped in her healing process. It is important to her to allow everyone to be able to navigate through their grief as they need to be supported by those that share their journey. Nikki was born and raised in New York. After high school she went to American University where she met her husband in her junior year. They were married in 2008 and had a daughter a couple of years later. Nikki became a suicide widow at 30, weeks before their 9th wedding anniversary. She moved to Texas in 2018 and started attending the social group a month after its creation in 2019. She went back to school for a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and after getting her license worked at a facility to take care of people with addiction and mental health concerns. Her vision is a world without suicide where everyone knows they are enough, they are loved, and they matter.
